GIEMN's research team has published a groundbreaking study quantifying the waste-to-energy potential of agricultural residues across Northern Nigeria's agricultural belt.

The study estimates that agricultural residues in the region could generate over 2,000 MW of electricity annually, enough to power millions of homes.
